Hotel Monteleone: Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do you have high speed Internet access in the guestrooms? If so, what are the charges?
A. Yes, the hotel currently has high speed Internet access in all guestrooms.
Access is through a DSL connection with average speed of 1.2Mbps. An Ethernet
cable is provided in the room, however, you must have an Ethernet card in your
laptop. Rates are as follows: $9.95 per day with an option to purchase 1, 3
or 5 days.
Q. Do you have a shuttle from/to the airport?
A. The hotel does not have a complimentary dedicated airport shuttle. However, you may catch the Airport Shuttle located on the ground level (baggage claim) area of Louis Armstrong International Airport for transportation to the hotel. The current charge is $13.00 US per person.
Or you may take a taxi directly to the hotel. Rates from the airport are $28.00 for 1-2 people traveling together or $12.00 per person for 3 or more people.
Q. We will be driving to the hotel. Can we expect room in your garage and is there a charge for parking?
A. If you are planning to drive or rent a vehicle, the Hotel Monteleone offers
valet parking for a daily fee, $30.00 for cars & small SUVs and $32.00 for large SUVs and vans. Due to space restrictions,
we have limited parking availability for large SUVs, trucks & vans. We cannot accommodate any vehicle over the following specifications:
76'5" H, 79"W, 197" Long or with a wheelbase of over 116". In addition, we cannot
accommodate full-size vans or trucks with extended cabs. Parking is at a premium
in the French Quarter and it is on a first come first serve basis. If you have

Q. We will arrive before check-in, what is the provision for storing luggage?
A. Based upon availability, the hotel will store your luggage at no charge until your check-in.
Q. Can we book sightseeing tours directly at the hotel?
A. Yes, you may see our Concierge who will be happy to assist you with booking
sightseeing tours
Q. Are there any public tennis courts in the vicinity of the hotel?
A. Please speak with our Concierge for information about tennis courts in the
area.
Q. Do you have Room Service and if so, what are the hours?
A. Yes, room service is available between the hours of
6:30AM – 11:00PM.

Q. What are your parking restrictions?
A. If you are planning to drive or rent a vehicle, the Hotel Monteleone offers

Q. What are your alcohol/beverage restrictions?
A. No ice chests are allowed to be brought into the hotel. There is a corkage
fee of $10.00 per bottle plus tax and gratuity for liquor being brought into
the hotel. Liquor being brought into the hotel must be pre-approved and come
through the Back Door Security Office.
Q: Do
you have a fitness center? If so, what are the hours?
A: Yes,
the hotel has a 24 hour key access fitness center with
Startrac Crosstrainers, Pro-Series Treadmill, Pro-Recumbent
Bikes, Pro-Upright Bikes and Pro-Stepper - Strength Training
Equipment: Leg Extensions, Abdominal machine, Vertical
Press, Lat Flexor and Bi-Cep Curls. Bottled water and
fresh fruit available as well as a panoramic view of
the Mississippi River.
Q: Do
you have a pool?
A: Yes,
a heated rooftop pool open from 6:00AM – 10:00PM
with a Poolside bar that is available from 11:00AM – 7:00PM.
